Cause Rock

What is Cause Rock?

It is the term given to Sean Stephens and the Chaos System's tour of 2005/2006. With all they have to be thankful for, the band decided to dedicate the proceeds from it's live shows to worthy charitable organizations and politically charged events. ROCK FOR THE CAUSE!

Thanks to all the generous people who donated thier time, money and services in support of these charities. Only through awareness can we make a change.

"Because I knew you, I've been changed for the better. Because I knew I've been changed for good."

The band is working towards bringing a brighter future to children in Africa this year, funds are being raised to support the "Children For Life" campaign.

Below are some events that we've been involved with so far.

Canadian Cancer Society - Societe canadienne du cancer

Canadian Cancer Society

Cancer kills. Everybody knows someone affected by this disease. It is without prejudice and strikes one in three people. For many years Sean Stephens and the Chaos System have been proud supporters of the "Relay for Life" an all night walk-a-thon and vigil for cancer survivors and the families of cancer victims. Proceeds from the benefit shows and CD sales go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. Find out more about the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca

During "Live 8" week Sean Stephens and the Chaos System performed a surprise benefit for "Gilda's Club" in Barrie Ontario. Gilda's Club named for cancer victim and comic actress Gilda Radner is a safe and comforatble drop in center for cancer patients and their families. The band has helped to raise over $5000.00 this year in aid of this cause. Beneficiaries include families local to Sean's community.
